| Description | Established by Valerie Mulvin and Niall McCullough and now with Ruth O Herlihy, McCullough Mulvin Architects is a Dublin-based practice making modern architecture in Ireland, their projects unfolding against the explosion of construction accompanying Ireland’s social and economic transformation. Common themes on the inter-relationship of art, landscape and memory play through the work; the projects are built in very particular contexts and reflect a specific response to site and place or are modern interventions into existing buildings, an open-ended exploration of materials and form which can occur at any scale. |
