Kilkenny architect curator of striking exhibition

Renowned architect and Kilkenny man Peter Cody is one of the curators of an exciting new exhibition, 'Line to Surface: Urban Void / Extended City,' which is on display at the Office of Public Works in Dublin until March 6. The exhibition was the Irish entry to the inaugural Lisbon Architecture Triennale; an international architectural festival held last summer with the objective of bringing together professionals and the general public to debate the questions that urban spaces face today and the broader role of contemporary architecture in the making of our cities. The Irish exhibition explores the potential of Dublin's urban void by examining how the city of Dublin is presently being made and revolves around the potential remaking of the abandoned spaces of our city.
