Top architectural firm shows leap in salaries, pensions

The Sunday Business Post

Five directors of Horan Keoghan Ryan (HKR), one of Ireland’s largest architectural practices, shared salaries and pension contributions of more than €4.3 million in the last financial year. The directors who held offices during the year received €4 million in salaries plus €310,000 in pension payments. This represented a significant increase on the previous year, when they received combined salaries of €1.2 million. The jump came after the company increased its pre-tax profits by more than 200 per cent to €3.4million for the year ending January 31, 2006, according to accounts filed with the Companies Offices in recent days.
