Developers who own land in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, are understood to have held a meeting to discuss their response to the Local Area Plan (LAP) for the area, which was unveiled recently by Dublin City Council. Jerry O’Reilly, a member of the O’Malley family, Sean Dunne, David Daly and Glenkerrin Homes are understood to have been present at the meeting. The LAP envisages the creation of new pedestrian and cycle routes via Jurys and the Veterinary College site and leading on through the AIB headquarters. There would also be a new public route from Sandymount Dart station to the RDS via the AIB lands.
