Dublin's 'Digital Hub' receives new setback

The Irish Independent

The development of Dublin's Digital Hub has received yet another setback as Dublin City Council has refused planning permission for Manor Park Homes project which includes 125 flats, a 47 storey tower containing a hotel and 85 aparthotel units, as well as a 33 storey office building. Since originally proposed in the 1990s, the Digital Hub has been beset by problems. In 2004 Manor Park Homes was selected as the preferred developer for the 5.6 acres of the combined sites near Guinness Brewery and Thomas St.
