The facelift of Dun Laoghaire harbour is set to continue, as An Bord Pleanala yesterday gave the green light for a major development by the Commissioners of Irish Lights. The 1.26 hectare existing site, close to the Royal Irish Yacht Club in south Co Dublin, will now be developed with a pavilion-style building after an appeal against the development was turned down. It comes in the wake of separate controversial plans for a €140m development of the old Dun Laoghaire baths site, including an eight-storey apartment complex.
