Concert hall plans will not disrupt gardens
The Iveagh Gardens, which border the National Concert Hall site in Dublin, will be unaffected by the proposed €100 million plan for a new auditorium. The Office of Public Works (OPW) owns the public park, which is just off Harcourt Street and behind the concert hall site. A spokeswoman for the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht said that as the OPW owned the gardens there would be no adverse effects caused by the construction.
