The Arts Council of Ireland has agreed to renew its funding for Irish-architecture.com for 2005. This will allow the site to continue to offer its existing services while developing new areas for launch next year. Without sponsorship or funding, it would be difficult to continue in the present format or offer the present level of information and interaction.

Recently Irish-architecture.com has replaced the aging forum software on Archiseek with a newer, more powerful and easier to use system. Currently a rebuild is underway to allow for future expansion and simplification of the site navigation. New features that will appear in 2005 include a large database of Irish architects including contact details and sample work. Other areas will include more information on past architects and buildings, and columns by our readers.
