A new €100 million development at the Royal Dublin Society grounds in Ballsbridge was given the go-ahead today. An Bord Pleanala said they had granted planning permission for a number of multi-storey office blocks, demolition work and the upgrading of stands. But a spokeswoman for the authority said a number of conditions have been placed on the proposed work at the Ballsbridge site. The RDS had claimed that its future could be in jeopardy if plans for the multi-million euro project were rejected.
