A section of Dublin's boardwalk due for completion next month will create a continental-style walkway all the way from Capel Street to the Point Depot. The 240m section with three entrances between O'Connell Bridge and Butt Bridge is costing €3m, co-funded by Dublin City Council and the Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA). City architect Jim Barrett said the boardwalk will link the existing sections on Ormond Quay and Bachelors Walk to the walkway between the Custom House and the Point Depot.
