Plans to restore Dun Laoghaire Baths have been scuppered for the moment, partly because the Council believed one proposal was just too radical. But is the 19-storey tower plan too much for the old-fashioned seafront? Plans to refurbish Dun Laoghaire's famous public baths have been sent - quite literally - back to the drawing board. Two short-listed proposals to redevelop the much loved but currently derelict baths were controversially rejected at a recent meeting of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown council.
