Flying in the face of adversaries

As expected, Ryanair and Portmarnock Community Association have appealed planning permission for a €70 million aircraft pier at Dublin Airport for low-cost air carriers. While the appeals may ultimately prove academic - the Government has put Pier D on hold while it assesses submissions to build an independent terminal - they are vehement in their opposition to the plan.
