Celebrated architects Bucholz McEvoy were recently chosen to represent Ireland at the Venice Biennale. The project they were invited to present is their new design for Limerick County Hall in Dooradoyle. The building will accommodate and enhance the public services offered by the Council and provide office space for 260 employees. The County Hall site acts as a gateway to the semi-natural open space along the Ballynaclough River. The building is located at the intersection of the open space and a large shopping centre surrounded by a parking area.
