Sandyford comes under fire from architect
The current spate of suburban office development in the Sandyford area of Dublin has come under heavy fire from an architectural expert. A new model for working and living is urged to provide a proper framework for the area by Noel Brady, School of Architecture, DIT. Writing in a special urban regeneration issue of Irish Architect magazine, he argues that "a new model must arise if we are to avoid a redundant and empty landscape that is emerging on the edge of our cities".
