Dublin may win €130m concert hall

The Irish government is planning to construct a €130m, 2,000-seat national concert hall and opera house on a greenfield site in Dublin. A tripartite commission, comprising officials from the departments of finance, education and arts, is working with the Office of Public Works on what would be the most ambitious cultural project in decades. A competition to design the building would be likely to attract the world's leading architects
