A Ł60m blueprint for a new centrepiece for the DART system has been given the go-ahead. The new Tara Street complex is to become the focal point for the DART system servicing Dublin's growing metropolitan area. Its tallest point will be 60.8m, making it marginally lower than the adjoining George's Quay high rise block (62.5m), but slightly higher than Liberty Hall (60m) directly opposite. A 12-storey office block will be located above the station, including two mechanical floors.
