All of a sudden, and almost unnoticed outside the city, Belfast has fallen in love with design; interior design in particular. The new mood seems to have crystallised last year, with the opening of Box Architects' Tatu, a bar grill on the Lisburn Road. Much hyped and eagerly anticipated following a lengthy struggle to get planning permission, Tatu was immediately hailed as modern, minimal and slightly dangerous.
