Dublin's Customs House docks are to get a multi-billion facelift that includes a 100m high skyscraper. The official plan published yesterday by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority includes 3000 apartments, the National Conference Centre, a new shopping and entertainment boulevard and four million square feet of commercial development. The "slim and elegant" landmark building - over twice the height of Liberty Hall - will act as a new 'gateway' to the city. It will be situated at Point Square, a new development beside the Point Depot.
