Pearse house a restoration gem

The Sunday Business Post

As the traffic speeds along Pearse Street in Dublin, few motorists might notice a terraced house near the fire station at the corner of Tara Street. 27 Pearse Street bears a stone plaque identifying it as the birthplace of Padraig Pearse. Many historic houses, have been swept away, including Robert Emmett's on St Stephen's Green and Lord Edward Fitzgerald's at Frascati. So it is pleasing to see the amazing transformation of the Pearse house.
