A 'tall buildings visual impact assessment' is appended to the EIS prepared by Dublin-based Urban Initiatives for the Dublin Docklands Development Authority environmental impact statement for Grand Canal Docks.. This singles out the two sites where DDDA believes high rise landmark buildings are appropriate for the docklands. The sites are at the corner of Sir John Rogersons Quay/Brittan Quay and a South Dock site at Barrow Street. Slender buildings rising to 60m (197 ft) and 50m (164 ft) high from ground level are envisaged for each of these sites.
