The new Ł3.5 million Project Arts Centre on East Essex Street in Temple Bar opened to the public for the first time yesterday. The new façade of this well known landmark is a mix of dazzling blue, steel and glass. The new centre is a four storey building but thanks to a large central balcony on the second floor, it does not overshadow the street. It is designed to blend in with the Temple Bar streetscape, which is made up of a mix of old style buildings and modern designs.
