Tributes have poured in after the death of onr of Ireland's best-known historians, Fr FX Martin, who died on Sunday, aged 77. He first rose to national prominence in the late 1970s when he brought 20,000 people onto the street to protest against the developments at Wood Quay in the centre of viking Dublin.
