Appeal against mammoth development opens
The planning appeal hearing for the largest urban development in the history of the State, the 1.2 billion complex at Spencer Dock in Dublin opens today. The development includes a £105 million national conference and exhibition centre was designed by the American firm Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates. Dublin Corporation has gave partial permission for the development, and this decision is being appealed by eight parties, including residents, heritage organisations and the developer itself. The board is due to make its decision before July 18th.
