Protest to save last Yeats house from demolition

The Irish Times

A protest was held yesterday outside the final residence in Ireland of William Butler Yeats, to campaign against the building's demolition. A planning application is before South Dublin County Council to demolish Riversdale House, Rathfarnham, Dublin where Yeats lived from 1932 and where two of his later poems, What Then? and An Acre Of Grass, are about. A decision on the application is due on February 22nd.
