Dublin design for a Polish palace

The Irish Independent

A Dublin based architectural practice has completed an award-winning design project for a historic palace at the heart of Warsaw old town in Poland. Architects A&D Wejchert & Partners will receive a major design award for the restoration and extension of the historic Sobanski Palace complex from the President of Poland on Friday. This architectural practice in Dublin's Lower Baggot St is headed by Andrzej Wejchert, who came to Dublin over 30 years ago where he has completed several outstanding buildings. Project architect was David Lanigann while collaborating architects were A Zbiegieni and T Szumielewics from Warsaw. Located along Royal Way, Sobanski Palace was designed by architect L Marconi and built in 1876.
