An Taisce condemns 'monster' building
An Taisce yesterday condemned a proposed 73.7mt high skyscraper for Georges Quay in Dublin as 'a glass Frankenstein monster' and claimed it would create high-rise anarchy throughout the city. The group asked a Bord Pleanala planning appeal hearing to reject the proposal out of hand. But the developers yesterday hit back at criticism of the project rejecting concerns by locals about adjoining DART safety, height, shadowing and other concerns.
