An impressive large-scale church built by Andrew Cullen to designs prepared by Walter Glynn Doolin (1850-1902). Occupying an elevated position in the town previously accommodating a market place, the church is an imposing landmark in New Ross with the profiled tower and spire defining the skyline of the local townscape.
