The Ulster American Folk Park is a theme park based on Irish emigration to the United States of America. It has two areas, the "Old Country" featuring reconstructed dwellings and buildings from the pre-famine era in Ireland; and the "New Country" featuring buildings from Pennyslavinia in the United States. The buildings have been moved here from various parts of Ulster. The centre piece of the park is the Mellon Homestead which is still on its original site. The other buildings are useful are representative works of vernacular Ulster architecture.
