Camla Vale
A large single storey over raised basement Georgian house, Camla Vale was built by the Montgomery family who sold it to the Westenra family from where it was left to the Rossmores. It had bay windows both curved and three sided and a roof parapet. A long low two storey service wing adjoined. After Rossmore Castle was abandoned in the years after the Second World War, the furnishings were moved to Camla Vale giving it an air of great splendour. Camla Vale was sold in 1962 and has since been demolished.
Cornancassa House
Built for the infamous Dacre Hamilton, Cornacassa House was a fine two storey over basement cut stone residence with a single storey Doric portico. The house had a three bay façade with the central bay broken forward, with five bays along the side elevation and a lower two storey service wing. Now demolished, only the stables remain.
Gola House
Now demolished after being burned in 1920, Gola House was builkt in the early to mid 18th century. Unusual in composition, Gola had a two storey gabled roof with a central tower and pryamidal roof. Speculation exists that perhaps Gola and Anketell Grove were both a local variation of the medium sized country house.
