The Music Center

Architect: McCullough Mulvin
Interior Access

Curved Street

The Music Center is sited on Dublin's newest street - the Curved Street formed by the facades of the Music Center and the Arthouse Multimedia Centre.

The building has two quite disparate facades - the side elevation having a white rendering finish punctured by window openings while the convex facade consists of one large window and door area filling much of the facade.

Temple Bar Music Centre

The building houses an auditorium as well as practice and session rooms, and office space for music based enterprises. The auditorium is housed within a re-used warehouse building and is contained within a 'blackbox' within the remainder of the structure. The entrance is marked by a projecting balcony which opens off a cafe area and leads to a raised courtyard that runs between the existing buildings on the site and the auditorium.
