Architecture of Dublin

Cavendish Row was named after William Cavendish, third Duke of Devonshire and Lord Lieutenant (1737-45) and was originally Cavendish Street before being renamed Row in 1766. Officially Cavendish Row is now a short street between Parnell Square East and the top of O'Connell Street.
