Interior Access
Once one of the finest Victorian bars in Dublin, Ryan's listed interior has been shamefully abused over the last few years by its current owners. The wonderful horseshoe central bar has been cropped for more floor space. This harms the way the bar was designed to work as there are now blind spots where a single barman cannot comfortably watch for orders from the entire bar.
Once upon a time, we would have wholeheartedly recommended Ryans for a pint in an authentic old Dublin bar. Now, don't bother, try Walshes of Stoneybatter instead.
